Our solution is to forge an alliance of partnerships focused on delivering dental care and education to the areas with the greatest need, with a primary focus on children. Our strategy centers around putting fully functioning mobile care units on the ground, staffed by well-trained dentistry students, utilizing volunteer dentists as mentors. In order to maximize efficiency in the areas we serve, we collaborate with organizations presently serving the various communities in need.
Mobile care units – To maximize our impact, our mobile care units must be designed for efficiency and assembled resourcefully. We have detailed designs for our prototype unit.
Mobile care providers – By partnering with dental schools around the world, we can help fill a need by providing dentistry students with real world experience. Practicing dentists, who volunteer their time, are utilized as in-field mentors, bringing added value to the student volunteers, while helping to maintain the highest quality standards.
Partnering organizations – Whenever possible, we like to team up with existing NGOs who are well-acquainted with their particular communities. The partnership is mutually beneficial, as we provide their communities with free care and they can help us by a) promoting our arrival, b) pre-screening the community to assess need, and c) by continuing to promote oral health care education.
